Two British motorcycle touring businesses based in Spain we work with to help you get the most from your holidays are GS Motorcycle Tours and Sierra Alma Touring offer tours in two neighbouring regions, Central Western and Southern Coastal Spain.
Sierra Alma Touring is owned and run by Hugh Anderson who operates his tours out of Salamanca, Spain – just west of Madrid. Sierra Alma’s tours cover an area about the size of Scotland running from southern Castille y León south to Badajoz and east along the border with Andalucia. This region is becoming increasingly popular amongst British bikers. The area encompasses several national parks, mountain ranges, glorious countryside and cracking biking roads – devoid of traffic. This is not a run-of-the-mill tour business riding on fixed routes. Every tour is different and packed with choice. Hugh speaks excellent Spanish which will be a weight off your mind when ordering lunch! Despite SatNav and the internet nothing surpasses local knowledge. Look him up and read all about it. www.sierraalma.com
Graham Swan owns GS Motorcycle Tours based near Granada in Andalucia, southern Spain. Graham offers motorcycle tours throughout most of Andalucia from Almeria in the east to Seville. He has been operating successfully for several years and knows his area very well with all its exciting motorbike routes. Graham’s tours run as far as where Sierra Alma’s lands touch the Andalucian border. So take a further look by visiting www.gsmotorcycletours.com
So you can now tour through two large regions of Spain with people who know their respective territories inside out, without missing a beat. Sierra Alma also offer a guide service, off motorway, from anywhere in Northern Spain that you require Fly and Ride to take your bike. They will also take you to the GS Motorcycle Tour region
